Haven't we got enough time wasters already?

I came across an interesting Google query that compares the occurrences of any two words/phrases across the web.

For example when I input :

Microsoft and Google

Google (1,050,000,000)

Microsoft (561,000,000)

Google and Yahoo

Google (1,050,000,000)

Yahoo (59,500,000)

Java and C++

Java (241,000,000)

C++ (104,000,000)

Ipod and Zune

ipod (227,000,000)

zune (24,800,000)

See how close China and USA are:

USA (676,000,000)

China (662,000,000)

Digg and Reddit

Digg (188,000,000)

Reddit (59,800,000)

And Saddam beats Bush hands down:

Saddam Hussein (8,160,000)

George bush (7,350,000)

And the list goes on...

Have you found any interesting surprises??

Here is another review of Johnchow.com. John wants to make the most of anchor text using Make money online.

It is also true that Make money online fits the description of John's website.

John has numerous categories on his blog . Initially he started this blog without any intention of making money. But slowly as he evolved as a blogger he realised the earning potential that internet can offer his personal blog and he is now using his blog to make some serious money.

He has come up with brilliant linkbait strategies like the current one: Review John's blog using anchor text make money online and get a free linkback from him.

I am still waiting for a linkback for my earlier review ! John are you listening.

Continuing with the review, John's website has rich original content and it is one of the most popular personal blogs on the internet.

He gives his blog a personal touch by posting occasional stories about his family and the gifts he recieves from various companies.

Even the food that he gets to eat in swanky restaurants is included in the blogs under fine dining category.

John also shares a lot of tips on how to make money online .

There is an entire section devoted to that.

John shows his benevolent side of his personality by matching donations that readers give to his chisen charities.

The best thing about johnchow.com is the huge participation by readers world wide.

John has clever ideas up his sleeve to entice readers to come back to his site for more .

For example, John encourages comments on his blog by giving away pens to top commentators.

There are also periodic gifts in the form of Nintendo Wii encouraging reader participation on his blog with the help of simple contests.

Plus some very practical tips on how to make money online helps his blog get more and more readers every day.

Aspiring bloggers should not miss the article on blogging mistakes.

So all those interested in Making money online click the links in this blog and start implementing the free advice given by John. His advice is effective . Proof is his Blog income.

Another advantage of having a popular blog is that you can make a lot of money by reviewing websites. John's makes a ton of money through reviews that he does for a $250 fee.

Tips for increasing Productivity:Visit Productivity501.com

Ever wished to achieve more on a daily basis than what you are already achieving now.

Everyone nowadays seems to be obsessed with increasing productivity. This makes sense as increased productivity leaves us with more time and ( hopefully more money ) to do things that we have always wanted to do but are just not able to do it for a variety of reasons.

Not anymore ! Enter Mr. Mark W. Shead.

Mark, a business problem solving consultant, has a website called Productivity501.com which has useful and interesting articles on increasing one's productivity using various strategies.

I am a regular on Johnchow.com.

It was through one of his posts that I came to know about Productivity501. Basically this blog post is a review of Productivity501.com similar to my earlier review of Johnchow.com.

Mark is a bit more generous than John as he is giving away an iPod shuffle through a draw of lots from the five best reviews of Productivity501.

The website Productivity501 is neatly laid out. Most of the articles are medium length and make an interesting read.

There is a section for most popular articles. Some of the articles include:

Two Types of Technology Users

In the above article Mark makes a subtle distinction between using technology to solve our daily problems and using technology to merely add features which may or may not increase our productivity.

145 Free University Lecture Podcasts

In the podcast link above there is a whole gamut of free podcasts available. I am sure pod users will appreciate the diverse collection.

I personally liked the article : Working from a Suitcase.

In this web article Mark talks about his personal experiences of working while travelling and makes some very valid and interesting points on how to stay connected while on the move.

This article is in sync with his another interesting article The Most for Your Minute in which he talks about getting familiar with the technology that we are going to use in order to maximise its benefits.

Another interesting article is Stretching Yourself.

I urge the readers of this article to stretch themselves by reviewing productivity501 on their blogs. If you do not have a blog get one for yourselves.

Since this is a review and no review is complete without suggestions I would like to point out a few things here:

Complete articles are not listed on the main page. This results in an extra mouse click to read the entire article. Currently on the right hand side there is a section for archives and another section for Most Popular. Interested readers can make use of these features to dig deeper into the site.

I would recommend displaying full length articles on the main page at least for the current month.

Even after the extra mouse click to read the entire article , the article has one more break in the form of a clock tower picture.

I would recommend moving the clock tower picture to the side of the article so that the flow of the article is not interrupted. Also the clock tower picture is becoming too repetitive.

Please add variety and sharpness to the pictures used on the website. It is pleasing to have non intrusive eye candy while reading articles.

Since increasing productivity could mean different things to different people, Mark could encourage readers to share their views by commenting on his articles . Top commentators can be rewarded (Similar to Johnchow.com).

Commentators add value to the website and Mark can get pointers for his future articles based on his readers' comments.

The sponsor section on the right hand site is blank. I do not know whether it currently serves any useful purpose.

The feed burner icon appears twice on the right hand side . I am using IE 6.0 to view this site.

Also the favicon - image icon that appears in the address bar and favorites- for Productivity501.com is that of Apple.

I wonder why??

All in all the website Productivity501.com has interesting content and based on its RSS feed burner stats which currently has over 900 subscribers has a fairly wide user base.

I am sure , in the coming days, Mark is going to enlighten us with many more insightful articles on how to take personal productivity to the next level and help us all enjoy our hobbies that we have always wanted to cultivate.

I wish him and all his readers all the best in the future.
